Mr. Linnemeyer concentrates his practice on business, corporate transactions and commercial litigation. He provides both transactional and litigation services to businesses and their owners. He uses his accounting and finance background to effectively balance client’s business and legal considerations.
Mr. Linnemeyer advises business clients on business entity formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, restrictive covenants, succession planning and contract review, drafting and negotiation.
As a litigator, Mr. Linnemeyer represents clients involved in commercial and business litigation including breach of contract matters, collection matters, shareholder and partner disputes, and injunction proceedings relating to business disputes and restrictive covenants.
Mr. Linnemeyer earned his B.A. in finance from the University of Illinois in 2003. He was awarded a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Northern Illinois University in 2006. He served as a Lead Articles Editor for the Northern Illinois University Law Review. Mr. Linnemeyer is a member of the DuPage County and Illinois State Bar Associations. He also is a member of the DuPage County Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Prior to joining Lyons Law Group, LLC, Mr. Linnemeyer worked as an associate attorney for a prestigious DuPage County law firm.

Mr. Linnemeyer is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the DuPage County Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He is the current chairperson of the DuPage County Bar Association Business Law Committee and is a counsel member of the Illinois State Bar Association Corporation, Securities and Business Law Section Counsel. Mr. Linnemeyer serves as a member of the board of directors for the DuPage County Chapter of the American Inns of Court. In his free time, Mr. Linnemeyer enjoys traveling, running¸ supporting the Fighting Illini and spending time with his wife.
